The Graphene Flagship organises Graphene Study to educate students and early career researchers interested in graphene and its applications. Graphene Study 2020, will cover two-dimensional materials for energy applications.

Energy storage technologies represent a pillar of modern society. New advancements are expected by combining expertise in chemistry, material science, nanotechnology, engineering and advanced computation methods. The school will offer a broad introduction to the fundamentals of such batteries and supercapacitors followed by an exciting and timely overview on the exploitation of two-dimensional materials in such technologies. The topics covered by outstanding keynote lecturers will be made accessible to master and PhD students and postdoctoral fellows with a background in scientific disciplines.

"The goal of Graphene Study is to bring together students working on related areas of research with experienced scientists from academia and industry," says Graphene Flagship Director Jari Kinaret.

The next Graphene Study will be held 14-18 June 2020 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
