ABOUT THE GRAPHENE PAVILION
The Mobile World Congress 2017 takes place from 27 February to 2 March in Barcelona. The Graphene Pavilion is located in Hall 8.0 which contains an exhibition area devoted to cutting edge technology and also hosts the Theatre District which ensures a high flow of visitors. Last year the congress attracted over 100 000 attendees and was covered by more than 3 600 members of international press and media.
The Graphene Pavilion is comprised of a central located Interactive Graphene Area that is surrounded by a number of exhibit pods to showcase graphene related technologies that are important for the mobile ecosystem, like flexible displays, wearables, Internet of Things, energy transmission and storage, data communications, etc.
In addition, the industrial Graphene Connect workshop will be co-located close to the Graphene Pavilion on the 2 March, organised by the Graphene Flagship, European Commission’s largest ever research initiative. At the Graphene Connect you can interact with inspiring graphene specialists that can help to define the future of graphene related technologies within your field.
The 2017 edition of MWC also includes the Youth Mobile Festival (YoMo), an educational and
hands-on activity for young people (10-16 years old) including workshops, theatre and shows. Let us know if you'd like to get involved in the outreach activities related to graphene that we will offer for the YoMo-event.
