The Graphene Flagship consortium foresees a system of grants for travel to and living costs in the US, Japan, and Korea, for researchers from consortium partners. Stipends are available through a Graphene Flagship internal competition aimed in particular at researchers in the early stage of their career.
The establishment of international collaborations are crucial for
research teams from the US, Japan, and Korea working in Graphene and
related 2D materials, as these teams have complementary expertise and
can benefit from each other. The Graphene Flagship mobility grants help
to reduce some of the current barriers to working internationally.
Submission and evaluation of proposals:

an online platform on the Graphene Flagship internal web (see bottom of
- The application/evaluation and the actual stay would take place in the period 1 April 2016 till 31 December 2017
- The application can be submitted no later than 30 September 2017

decide on the proposals three times a year, after June 1, October 1, and

Flagship Management Panel. Work Package Leaders and/ or Deputies of
specific Work Packages will be consulted on merits of applications
set of criteria to select proposals for exchange has been established
and published on the Graphene Flagship internal web (Onboard). In
particular, the proposals need to show a clear alignment with the
ongoing research activities within specific Work Packages of the
Graphene Flagship and the expected benefits from collaboration
activities with selected groups in the in the respective countries
