The Graphene Week 2016 Welcome Reception will take place on Monday, 13 June, in the Main Foyer of the historical Grand Theatre in Warsaw. The Main Foyer, opening directly to the terrace, has beautiful marble floors, stucco walls, pillars and impressive chandeliers.
The Welcome Reception is included in the conference participant fee, and part of the conference programme
About the Grand Theater
Grand Theatre – National Opera is the city’s main venue for opera and balet and one of the largest theatres in the world. It was designed by the Italian architect Antonio Corazzi and built between 1825 and 1833.
Its magnificent classical façade is one of the few remaining parts of the original theater to have survived World War II. Completed in 1965, the post-war restoration and modernisation made it one of the most spectacular and well-equipped theatres in Europe.
The Grand Theatre houses a 1,800-seat auditorium, a smaller 248-seat auditorium and the National Museum, Poland’s only theatre museum.

Tomasz Betka is a classically trained musician, composer and producer. He writes the music for
independent movies, commercials and even cabaret.Bogdan Kierejsza – Violin Symphony Show
Bogdan Kierejsza is an acknowledged violin player, with a long-term concert experience. Firstly, an orchestra musician, than a member of the violin quartet and finally a soloist, he has given concerts almost on all continents.
