The Graphene Pavilion at Mobile World Congress 2019
Mobile World Congress is the world's largest gathering for the mobile industry, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology. MWC is organised by the GSMA and held in Barcelona, Spain, in late February every year. In 2018, the event attracted 107,000 attendees and 2,400 exhibitors, facilitated more than 1 million business meetings, and was covered by more than 3,500 members of international press and media.
The Graphene Pavilion at MWC, now in its fourth year, is organised by the Graphene Flagship, curated by ICFO, and supported by the European Commission and the GSMA. The Pavilion showcases the progress of graphene research and innovation through prototypes and materials, while at the same time highlighting the future of graphene related materials.

MWC Barcelona 2019 expects more than 2,300 exhibitors and an expected 108,000 attendees, who during four days will get the chance to listen to relevant industry leaders exploring the hottest topics influencing the mobile industry today, attend dozens of partner-led programmes and experience everything there is to know about the mobile industry and beyond – including visiting the Graphene Pavilion in the Next Gen Innovation area.
Graphene Flagship partners and related organisations have the chance to join in and help to tell the story of graphene by showcasing state-of-the-art graphene related prototypes and products at the Graphene Pavilion.
