Funding mechanism

The Graphene Flagship consortium foresees a system of grants for travel to and living costs in the US, Japan, and Korea, for researchers from consortium partners. Stipends are available through a Graphene Flagship internal competition aimed in particular at researchers in the early stage of their career.

‚ÄčThe establishment of international collaborations are crucial for research teams from the US, Japan, and Korea working in Graphene and related 2D materials, as these teams have complementary expertise and can benefit from each other. The Graphene Flagship mobility grants help to reduce some of the current barriers to working internationally.
