Women in Graphene

The purpose of ”Women in Graphene” is to give female researchers in the project the opportunity to discuss their research and the situation for women in the field. An inventory of specific needs of female researchers in the partner countries is envisaged, with the goal to offer tailored actions to support female researchers within the Graphene Flagship and to reach out and inspire more women to become involved in science in general and graphene in particular.

The Women in Graphene network was launched during Graphene Week 2015. As a part of Graphene Week 2016, there was a separate session with invited speakers.  In March 2017, a Career Development Day was held, and in September 2017 a session at the 2017 Graphene Week.

The next meeting will take place on 8 March 2018 in Mölndal, Gothenburg area, Sweden, and will be hosted by AstraZeneca. Read more about the event here. This event is now sold out and registration is closed.
