Sessions and Workshops

EU Funded

The 19th Edition of Europe's Leading 2D Materials Conference Promises a Rich and Dynamic Programme

As we celebrate the 20th anniversary since the isolation of graphene, we are thrilled to benefit from the expertise of leading graphene and 2D materials experts.

This special edition of Graphene Week will be enhanced by the unique contributions of our 12 Research and Innovation Actions (RIAs) and Innovation Actions (IAs). Each project focuses on specific areas of 2D materials, and their collaboration will be central to our events.

Together, we will create engaging parallel sessions and workshops that focus on their specialised fields, providing attendees with valuable insights and the latest updates on these topics.

Parallel Sessions

Production

Date: Wednesday, 16 October 2024
Time: 11:15 - 13:15
Organizers: Next 2-Digits Project

The Graphene Flagship’s principal mission has been to take technologies based on graphene and related 2D materials (2DM) from the laboratory to commercial applications.

This session will explore some of the various production methods used to produce quality graphene and related 2DM for application in a wide range of industries from optical devices and circuits, like Next 2-Digits, to biosensing, composites and coatings, and supercapacitors.

2DM for Tomorrow

Date: Thursday, 17 October 2024
Time: 11:15 - 13:15
Organizers: 2D-Engine Project

By pushing the boundaries of growth, characterisation methods, deposition and layer-by-layer assembly of atomically thin crystals supported by multiscale theoretical modelling of materials and devices, projects like 2D-Engine aim to develop high-quality 2DM and hetero-structures.

Come learn about 2DM for Tomorrow in this session, and see what the future holds...

Production & Safe by Design

Date: Thursday, 17 October 2024
