GIANCE Workshop at JEC 2025 in Paris
JEC World gathers the whole value chain of the composite materials industry in Paris (France) every year and is “the place to be” for composites professionals from all over the world. The GIANCE project will host a workshop at JEC 2025 on 4 March to discuss graphene integration, production and processing, and recycling techniques, in addition to open call from the Horizon Europe initiative. About GIANCE & Graphene
GIANCE advances graphene and related materials (GRM) to develop lightweight, recyclable and high-performance solutions. By enhancing durability, corrosion resistance and fire protection, it addresses industrial challenges across automotive, aerospace, energy and water treatment, supporting the Graphene Flagship initiative and EU industrial leadership.
Workshop Overview
- First half: Presentations from GIANCE partners will cover topics like an overview of the project, graphene integration into composites and applications, GRM production and processing and recycling technologies.
- Second half: A collaborative brainstorming session on how 2D materials can contribute to the following upcoming Horizon Europe calls:
HORIZON-CL4-INDUSTRY-2025-01-MATERIALS-43 – Innovative Advanced Materials for robust, fast-curing sealants and coatings (IA).
HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-DIGITAL-EMERGING-05 – IAMs for photonics, enabling low-power and ultra-broadband performance for telecommunication (IA/RIA).
HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-DIGITAL-EMERGING-06 – IAMs for conformable, flexible, or stretchable electronics (RIA).
