Exciting Progress Update from 2D-PRINTABLE!
We're thrilled to share the latest achievements by our team in creating new 2D materials for printed electronics.
🎉 Milestone 1: Theoretical Identification of Novel 2D Materials
Our first milestone is officially complete! Through rigorous computational analysis utilizing van der Waals DFT, we've identified a core portfolio of exfoliable materials tailored for printed electronic applications. Leveraging experimental data from leading databases, we've expanded our 2D material portfolio and predicted crucial properties like mechanical strength, charge mobility, and optical behavior. 🎉 Milestone 2: Synthesis of New Layered Crystals
Another milestone unlocked! Working in collaboration with Prof. Sofer's team at UCT Prague, we've successfully synthesized a diverse range of 2D materials, scaling up production to meet industrial demands. From high-k dielectric insulators to semiconductors and metallic compounds, our synthesis efforts have yielded impressive results. Notable achievements include the production of large-scale hBN bowls and single crystals of molybdenum, tungsten diselenide, and more.
