2D-PL Support Programme for MPW Runs

The 2D-PL Support Programme lowers the obstacles for researchers and companies wanting to join our multi-project wafer (MPW) runs. Selected participants can receive a reduction of up to 50% off the MPW fee in exchange for providing feedback on the received devices in the form of a short interview with the hosting pilot line. Your feedback helps us improve future runs. 

Who can apply? 

• Anyone already eligible for a 2D-PL MPW run. 

• Applicants must agree to: 
  1.Test the pilot line devices at their own premises. 
  2. Share feedback with 2D-PL host partners and, through our project reporting, the European Commission. Selected information can be shared with other consortium members to improve our next offer. 

• Funding is only available during the project lifetime and while budget lasts. 

• Priority goes to: 
  1. Organisations in the EU and EEA 
  2. EUROPRACTICE partners 
  3. Graphene Flagship members and affiliates 

How applications are evaluated 

Applications are ranked based on: 

• Scientific and technological impact (innovation, feasibility, contribution to EU IP, relevance for the EU semiconductor ecosystem) 

• Applicant’s affiliation 

Applications for reduced fees are jointly reviewed by the MPW host partners (IMEC, VTT, IHP, AMO, Graphenea). Final decisions are made by the 2D-PL steering group, with the host partner having the final say.
