The Open Forum allows us to dive into a cross-disciplinary discussion on key topics for the 2D materials community. This year we will take a look at Future Challenges to 2DM integration. The 2D technologies we are developing have the potential to change key European industries, but only if we can overcome the gap between research and industry.

Come learn about the Graphene Flagship’s work on 2D materials in diverse areas from composites and energy to photonics and electronics and biomedical applications and into fundamental research on the 2D Materials of Tomorrow. European Commission: Future Funding Opportunities

Come learn what the European Commission has planned for 2D materials funding in the next work programme and the future funding opportunities presented by the upcoming IAM4EU private-public partnership.

In this session Dr Siddharth Jethwa a publisher at the Materials Portfolio at IOP Publishing will discuss the impact of AI on scholarly publishing. Attendees will gain insights on how publishers, researchers and institutions can navigate this rapidly evolving environment together. 

Diversity in Graphene

This session explores the importance of diversity in research institutions and the challenges associated with creating an inclusive environment. This year we will explore harassment, bullying and mobbing in the workplace, how to identify it, how to support victims of it and how to create an institutional environment that prevents it. Join us for a networking mingle in the next coffee break after the session.
