Want to learn more about what the future holds for 2D materials research and innovation in Europe? This session will look at the future of the Graphene Flagship initiative and the European landscape for 2DM research and innovation. How does the Horizon Europe funding mechanism look for 2D materials research and innovation? What will the Partnerships mean to the graphene funding ecosystem? How will the project look as it sails on?
European Commission representatives Andrea Napolitano and Sofie Nørager will speak about the Horizon Europe funding mechanism look like for 2D-materials research and innovation, upcoming funding opportunities that will be made available to the research community in the near future and the European partnerships.
Max Lemme from AMO and Elmar Bonaccurso from AIRBUS will discuss the future of 2DM research and innovation in Europe and Max will give insights on the continuing work in the Graphene Flagship's 2D-EPL project.
Philippe Jacques from the AMi2030 advanced materials initiative will present emerging innovation markets for advanced materials and how the proposed Innovative Materials for Europe partnership will help to shape the future of materials research and innovation in Europe.
Graphene Flagship Head of Innovation Kari Hjelt will discuss the Graphene Flagship's future through the continuing projects in Horizon Europe, the IM for EU partnership and the new 2D Materials Industry Consortium (2DM-IC).
The session will end with a panel discussion where the audience will have the opportunity to pose questions to the speakers.
