Join us at Graphene Week 2024, an international
platform where research and innovation meet collaboration. Submit your abstract on graphene and 2D materials for a chance to present, discuss and connect with like-minded professionals. 

Mark your calendars:

  • 18 March: Abstract submission opens  
  • 31 May: First Deadline for abstract submissions 
  • 28 June: Extended Deadline for abstract submission 
  • 09 July: Abstract results announcement 
  • 14 August: Deadline for assigned presenters to confirm presentations and registration. (Missing this deadline will result in the withdrawal of the abstract from the Scientific Programme and related publications) 
  • 30 August: Official Programme is announced

Student Grants

The Graphene Flagship is dedicated to fostering the next generation of graphene and 2D material researchers and innovators. Over the years, Graphene Week has supported over 1,000 students enabling them to thrive and leave their mark on graphene research. In this new phase of the Graphene Flagship our commitment remains. This year we will be offering 75 grants, each for €300, to be used towards Graphene Week registration!

Have your work published

This year, IOP Publishing is curating a special focus issue in 2D Materials, inspired by Graphene Week 2024. Oral and poster presenters will be invited to submit their abstract papers for consideration and selected contributors will have their works published, showcased on a dedicated webpage and receive extensive promotion within the 2DM community. Seize this chance to get your work published by submitting your abstract for this unique opportunity!

Poster Awards

All accepted posters qualify for the Best Poster Award, selected by the Poster Award Committee based on research level, novelty of findings, poster quality and presentation clarity. 

Awards include: 

  • Best Poster on Fundamentals 
  • Best Poster on Applications 
  • Best Poster on Processing  
  • Best Poster on Sustainable Use

Winners receive a certificate from the Programme Committee and a prize of € 600 in acknowledgment of their contributions.
