New Guide Aims to Strengthen Sweden’s Competitiveness in 2D Materials
SIO Grafen, Graphene Flagship Partnering Project, has launched an updated version of its supplier guide for 2D materials, making it easier for Swedish companies and research organisations to identify the right suppliers in this rapidly developing field.
As new technologies and applications emerge, so does the demand for advanced materials. At the same time, materials are expected to meet higher requirements in terms of properties, quality, performance and suitability for specific applications. For companies and research organisations, this makes it even more important to identify the right material and supplier early in the development process.
“The guide provides an up-to-date overview of suppliers and materials in the 2D field. This makes it easier to navigate a market that is evolving rapidly,” Blerina Gjoka explains.
Strengthening manufacturing through competitive value chains
Launched in 2021, the guide has now been updated with new market intelligence and a broader range of relevant suppliers. The initiative also aims to strengthen Swedish manufacturing by supporting the development of complete, competitive value chains.
“One tangible outcome of the project is a stronger shared knowledge base. In our experience, this helps strengthen collaboration between users and suppliers and enables the network to move towards products that are better aligned with market needs,” says Blerina Gjoka.
