In addition to the presentation of fundamental research it is known for, the 14th edition of Graphene Week will showcase technology, innovation and graphene applications. As the Graphene Flagship advances towards its goal of bringing graphene and related materials out of the lab and into the marketplace, its yearly conference keeps pace. Sessions on funding, intellectual property strategies and marketing your research will complement the presentations on fundamental research and results.

Graphene Week 2019 will be held 23-27 September at the Scandic Marina Congress Center in Helsinki, Finland.

It's not too late to take part in Europe's leading graphene conference. Early bird rates are available for registrations before 15 June. Submit your abstract for oral and poster presentations by 12 May to share your work with the graphene community.

Bringing together 118 academic and industrial partners in 12 research and innovation projects and 1 coordination and support project, the Graphene Flagship initiative will continue to advance Europe’s strategic autonomy in technologies that rely on graphene and other 2D materials. The initiative, which builds on the previous 10-years of the Graphene Flagship, is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. The 2D-Experimental Pilot Line, addressing the challenges of upscaling 2D material production processes for the semiconductor industry, is another key component of the Graphene Flagship eco-system.
