Graphene Flagship leaders gather in Cambridge

From 17-18 November 2014, the Graphene Flagship‘s Science and Technology Forum met at Madingley Hall in Cambridge, UK.

The 38 attendees included leaders and deputy leaders of the flagship’s work packages, and members of the Graphene flagship’s Executive Board and Strategic Advisory Council. Over two days the assembled scientists and technologists discussed the achievements of the consortium during the first year of operation, and planned the first core project under the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme.

A number of critical decisions were made at the forum, among them the work package structure and indicative budgets for the first two years of the flagship’s steady-state phase, which will commence in 2016. The planning process for this period will be completed in the spring of next year.
