Graphene Flagship accepts first oversees Associate Member

The Korea Carbon Nano Industry Association (KCANIA) celebrated its acceptance as the Graphene Flagship's first oversees Associate Member at the Global Graphene Commercialization Summit 2026 hosted by South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy at the Korea Science and Technology Centre in Seoul.

The Graphene Flagship's Prof. Andrea Ferrari presented KCANIA with a Certificate of Association welcoming the association to the Graphene Flagship community.

The Graphene Flagship's Association Mechanism allows organisations or projects to join the initiative in order to promote broader exchanges and an inclusive environment within the 2DM community, as well as ensure the continuity of national and international collaborations.

This new association promises to advance the shared goals of the Korean and European 2D materials ecosystems.
