The collaborative nature of the Graphene Flagship facilitated the creation and publication of a Special Issue of the journal Advanced Materials. The Special Issue, titled Chemical Approaches to 2d Materials, includes work from a large number of Flagship researchers, alongside other leading researchers from the US, China and Korea.

Teresa Gatti from the University of Padova, Italy was one of nine young researchers who got financial support to visit ESOF in Manchester earlier this summer.

Associated Membership is an important means to engage additional organisations working towards the goals of the Graphene Flagship. Graphitene is one of a growing number of companies joining this way.

The roadmap session is driven by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI team and will be chaired by Dr Michael Meister who has assembled a panel of expert speakers to provide insights on the industrial demands of Graphene in the coming years.
