Innovation Workshop Electronics is an industry workshop for participants who want to discuss opportunities with graphene in the area of electronics and meet future partners to create new exciting innovation projects. This event was co-organised by the Graphene Flagship, RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) and SIO Grafen.
The Graphene Flagship, the Medical Association of Barcelona (COMB) and the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) co-organized a Graphene Connect event on MedTech and Diagnostic Technologies associated with the first Graphene for Health Investment Forum.
The event will took place on 6 November 2019 from 9:00 to 17:30 and was hosted at the premises of the Barcelona Medical Association in Barcelona, Spain.
Graphene Connect 5G/Datacom took place on the second day of the Graphene Innovation Forum at the Graphene Flagship's annual conference Graphene Week on 23-27 September 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.

The Graphene Flagship's Graphene Connect Composites workshop was an industry workshop for participants to discuss opportunities with graphene in the area of composites and meet future partners to create new innovation projects. This event took place at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre in Manchester, UK, on 27-28 March 2019 lunch to lunch, including a visit of the GEIC at the end of the afternoon on 27 March.
Now in its fourth year, the Graphene Pavilion, curated by the Graphene Flagship Innovation Team, and supported by the European Commission and the GSMA, allowed visitors at Mobile World Congress to explore three different zones focused on the ‘phone of the future’, ‘wearables of the future’ and ‘homes of the future’, which provided an opportunity to see the latest prototypes that are transforming the communication industry.
This event was organised in collaboration with the Graphene Flagship as part of the Graphene Marketplace event series. Graphene: revolution is coming to Earth... and Space brought together the public, press, Leonardo employees, and representatives from across Flagship divisions, to discuss the future possibilities and opportunities for graphene related materials.

Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organised by the GSMA and held in Barcelona, Spain, in late February every year. The 2018 edition of MWC attracted over 100 000 attendees, 2 400 exhibitors and was covered by more than 3 500 members of international press and media.
MEDICA is the largest medical trade fair in the world – in 2017 it attracted more than 123,000 professional trade visitors from 130 nations and more than 5,100 exhibitors from 66 countries in 17 halls. The Graphene Flagship used this opportunity to showcase the latest graphene research in Graphene Biomedical Technologies to decision-makers in the medical industry from all over the world.
At the Tallinn Digital Summit, a forum for Heads of State and Government from across Europe to discuss digital innovation and Europe’s digital future, the Graphene Flagship showcased the potential of graphene and related materials with an array of interactive demonstrators and prototypes.

The Graphene Flagship and ICFO, with support from the GSMA, presented the Graphene Experience Zone at the 2017 Mobile World Congress (MWC). MWC is the world's largest gathering for the mobile industry, (with over 100,000 attendees), and was held from 27 February to 2 March 2017 in Barcelona. The Graphene Experience Zone showcased the latest achievements and innovations from the graphene community in an interactive and accessible way.
Under the umbrella of the Graphene Flagship, a number of partners are exhibiting products and prototypes at the Composites Europe 2016 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The evolution of graphene is happening all around us and its impact on many of the building block components of the mobile industry can be profound. To showcase this, the Graphene Flagship introduced a Graphene Zone at the 2016 edition of Mobile World Congress, 22-25 February 2016, Barcelona, Spain. Alongside with industry and academic co-exhibitors, the Graphene Flagship highlighted graphene in mobile applications, stretching from bendable batteries to new wearables sensors.
Dedicated research has identified many opportunities for graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) to be used in various electronic applications. In this workshop, experts in the field highlighted the steps taken forward and addressed key challenges in this quest to enable CMOS-compatible wafer-scale fabrication routes.
