Register for FREE today for the first installment of the Europractice & 2D EPL Webinar Series on 28 April, 16:00 CEST. This technical webinar is expected to last 60 minutes including Q&A, and will feature presentations from Dr. Romano Hoofman (imec) and Dr. Daniel Neumaier (AMO).
We welcomed over 300 attendees to this workshop, hosted by the Graphene Flagship's 2D-EPL, which focused on the different steps that are encountered during the transfer of 2D materials on Si wafers, which secure access to the most advanced nanofabrication technology. The challenges linked to the delamination of high quality 2D materials grown on epitaxial templates as well as the subsequent steps for bonding the 2D materials to the target wafer were subject to an in depth dive.
Ultra-broadband absorption properties of graphene have enabled a wide number of possibilities in the fields of lasers and photonics. Here we'll present a patented turn-key, dual-wavelength synchronised fibre laser solution exploiting graphene as a broadband saturable absorber to be implemented in a coherent Raman microscopy platform for live cell-imaging and tissue analysis.
Graphene Week is Europe's Leading Graphene Conference, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology and research on graphene from more than 200 experts related to industry and academia. The 2021 edition, held digitally featured 50 oral and 120 poster presentations with over 25 hours of live interactions and 3 weeks of on demand content.
One of the biggest challenges the 2D materials faces to be adopted by this industry is the growth of material with a similar stability, reliability and defect density. In this workshop we addressed and discussed these growth challenges.
This event marked the public launch of the 2D-Experimental Pilot Line (2D-EPL), gaving the participants insights on this new Graphene Flagship project and how it can spearhead the introduction of graphene and related materials in semiconductors.
Graphene from the Buyer's Perspective – The Power of Standardisation, which was held virtually on Tuesday, 19 January 2021, was the first in a series of events highlighting "The Power of Standardization," hosted by the Graphene Flagship. Together, we are aiming at connecting the global efforts towards graphene standardisation.
Innovation Workshop Electronics is an industry workshop for participants who want to discuss opportunities with graphene in the area of electronics and meet future partners to create new exciting innovation projects. This event was co-organised by the Graphene Flagship, RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) and SIO Grafen.
The Graphene Flagship, the Medical Association of Barcelona (COMB) and the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2) co-organized a Graphene Connect event on MedTech and Diagnostic Technologies associated with the first Graphene for Health Investment Forum.
The event will took place on 6 November 2019 from 9:00 to 17:30 and was hosted at the premises of the Barcelona Medical Association in Barcelona, Spain.
Graphene Connect 5G/Datacom took place on the second day of the Graphene Innovation Forum at the Graphene Flagship's annual conference Graphene Week on 23-27 September 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.
This event was an industry workshop for participants wanting to discuss opportunities with graphene in the area of 5G and Datacom technologies and meet future partners to create new innovation projects.
Graphene Connect Wearables took place on the first day of the Graphene Innovation Forum at the Graphene Flagship's annual conference Graphene Week on 23-27 September 2019 in Helsinki, Finland.

The Graphene Flagship's Graphene Connect Composites workshop was an industry workshop for participants to discuss opportunities with graphene in the area of composites and meet future partners to create new innovation projects. This event took place at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre in Manchester, UK, on 27-28 March 2019 lunch to lunch, including a visit of the GEIC at the end of the afternoon on 27 March.
Now in its fourth year, the Graphene Pavilion, curated by the Graphene Flagship Innovation Team, and supported by the European Commission and the GSMA, allowed visitors at Mobile World Congress to explore three different zones focused on the ‘phone of the future’, ‘wearables of the future’ and ‘homes of the future’, which provided an opportunity to see the latest prototypes that are transforming the communication industry.
This event was organised in collaboration with the Graphene Flagship as part of the Graphene Marketplace event series. Graphene: revolution is coming to Earth... and Space brought together the public, press, Leonardo employees, and representatives from across Flagship divisions, to discuss the future possibilities and opportunities for graphene related materials.
