Graphene Week 2022


The 2022 edition of Graphene Flagship's Graphene Week will take place at the heart of European innovation - the world-famous BMW Welt in Munich, Germany. The multidisciplinary event will gather the latest research on graphene and related materials, as well as the newest graphene-enabled products. Don't miss this unique chance to meet the best experts in the field, expand your network and learn about exciting innovations. Registration is now OPEN!

The Graphene Flagship organises a variety of events for researchers, industry and early career researchers in order to inspire you to engage in better research, innovation and collaboration. The project is also represented at external tradeshows and exhibitions.

For Researchers


Our events for researchers include our annual conference Graphene Week, our workshops for early career researchers Graphene Study, our International Workshops which encourage collaborations with researchers in many other parts of the world, and our digital events.

For Industry


The Graphene Flagship organises several events for industry including the Graphene Marketplace events hosted by Graphene Flagship partners who wish to promote graphene applications in their companies and Innovation Workshops created to foster innovation projects between academia and industry.

In addition to our own industry events, the Graphene Flagship showcases graphene applications at industry tradeshows and exhibitions.

For Students


The Graphene Flagship promotes the education of early career researchers with its Graphene Study events.

For Diversity

The Diversity in Graphene initiative aims to create a collaborative research environment where everybody feels welcome, without any prejudice. The initiative holds two annual meetings, a career day and a meeting at the Graphene Week conference.

Diversity in Graphene Career Event 2022


In this free, digital Diversity in Graphene Career Event, we will explore different career options. We will hear from former and current Graphene Flagship researchers who work in academia and industry. They will provide their life examples and very practical career suggestions. The event is dedicated to PhD students, early career researchers and anyone considering their future career steps. Join us on 10 May 2022, 14:15-15:30 pm (CEST).

Graphene Week 2021


Graphene Week is Europe's Leading Graphene Conference, bringing together the latest innovations and leading-edge technology and research on graphene from more than 200 experts related to industry and academia. The 2021 edition, held digitally featured 50 oral and 120 poster presentations with over 25 hours of live interactions and 3 weeks of on demand content.

As part of the Diversity in Graphene initiative, we organised a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, a free event where participants learned from an experienced Wikipedia editor and edited Wikipedia entries together.
